About us

Fernlea Cattery is run by us, Simon and Theresa Browne. We have always been animal lovers and we now share our home with our children, dogs, ducks and many cats, most of which are all rescued.
 
One of our passions is helping the unwanted, homeless cats and kittens.  We work with the RSPCA and board rescue cats until they find a home.
 
The desire to run our holiday home for cats is not simply about developing a business but it stems from a real love of animals.
 
We treat each cat boarding with us as if it were our own and we will pamper to their every need, whether this is lots of attention, or less for more timid cats who prefer to be left alone. We do find that even a nervous cat will soon settle down after a few days.
 
We are confident that you will have a more enjoyable holiday and peace of mind knowing that your cat is safe and secure and well looked after.
